Zainab – Alexandria

Ten years ago Zainab suffered a cut to the spinal cord after an accident, Zainab was 18 years old and despite her young age she did not give in to
the feeling of disability and decided that her life must go on.

She joined Alhassan Foundation then became a volunteer She received a custom-made wheelchair that made her life easier and she received rehabilitation under the Rise Up project. Zainab thinks of the wheelchair as a means of life not a sign of disability.

Now, Zainab is the branch director of a prosthetics company and she supports the differently-abled with her positive attitude and success.
