When I first started work at the foundation from 3 years I was unable to move independently; one of the most important skills I have ever learned to be a real employee; they taught me self-reliance through the project “Rise up”. Already today, after being in the foundation for four years, I am depending on myself hundred percent”.

Rania Roshdy – Project Specialist at the Foundation

In cooperation with Dar El Shorouk, the first reference on the life of wheelchair users was translated and published in the Arab world. The book tells the story of a man who has gone through a car accident and has become a wheelchair user. He describes the challenges he faced and how he achieved the highest degree of independence. The book is a basic reference for all wheelchair users and their families, and the surrounding community

The daily life training exercises do not include any treatment or medical intervention by the institution
